Die Nitecore NU25UL ist eine Variante der NU25-400, sie unterscheided sich durch ein anders Kopfband und etwas kleinerem Gehäuse, daher auch durch ein deutlich geringeres Gewicht. Die NU25UL wurde komplett überarbeitet: Neues Design, mehr Leistung, neues Bedienkonzept,
USB-C Ladeport und neues Kopfband.
Die Nitecore NU25UL verfügt über drei unterschiedliche Leuchtmittel, zwei Haupt-LED´s für Spot- und Flutlicht (Mix-Mode möglich), sowie zwei Rotlicht-LED´s. Die Lampe ist mittels neuartiger Aufnahme mit dem Kopfband verbunden und kann einfach und schnell getrennt werden, z. B. um das Kopfband zu reinigen.
Das intuitive Bedinekonzept wurde von der NU33 übernommen.
Ein einfaches Riemen-Kopfband und das kleinere Gehäuse reduzieren das Gewicht der NU25UL auf nur 45 g.
Die Nitecore NU25UL verfügt über einen integrierten Li-Ion Akku mit 650mAh, der über einen USB-C-Port direkt in der Lampe geleaden werden kann. Eine Akkustandanzeige informiert über den Ladezustand des Akkus.
